The Rossford Public Library has been completely renovated, re-organizing the existing 16,000 SF building, and featuring a new 2,500 SF addition. The Library is situated on a prominent urban corner site, allowing for the creation of a Popular Library Addition that serves as a beacon, lighting the Library as a lantern in the community.

New Patron areas provide much needed space for Reading, Information Technology, Reference, and expanded Meeting Rooms. A graphic mural defining the walls of the general collection was created in a Community celebration of local history.
Color is used to reinforce the design concept and provide identification wayfinding for Library areas. Natural light is used with glass and clerestories to create interior view corridors toward the exterior and to provide natural light in the reading areas.
State-of-the-art technology, data communication, and art are integrated throughout while providing expanded areas for the collection and patron services of all ages.
