PRINCIPAL
Kate MacPherson has pursued a lifelong interest in Architecture and Design in a professional career of over 30 years.
Having received a MArch from Washington University in St. Louis and BFA in Design from the University of Michigan, Kate has actively practiced for 20 years in Boston, Massachusetts and since 2001 in her native Toledo, Ohio.
Originally founding her Woman owned firm in 1987, she has been recognized for her award winning design, creativity, vision, and successful Community process stewardship on many highly visible Civic, Educational, Library, Commercial, Mixed-Use, select Residential work, and Master Planning projects. Her firm fosters an atmosphere of artistic and technical collaboration.
Kate strives to provide inspiring and sustainable environments, demonstrating creativity, care, and professional delivery of over 50 built projects. Her work explores her interests in Philosophy, Kinesiology, and Biomimetics as they relate to spatial logistics, movement, light, color theory, and meaning.
Kate participates in Lectures, Competitions, Exhibitions, and is involved in Community Activities with current Board Memberships in Toledo Opera, Fort Meigs Cabinet, Toledo Hospital Grosh Committee, and previously with Historic Perrysburg Inc, and Co-Chair of Perrysburg’s Comprehensive Plan.
